Attention Members: Paying on our secure and FREE website is the way to go!

Hey members, we wanted to update you on the easiest and most efficient way to pay your bill online to MEC. Most importantly, its FREE!

If you are paying online, please make note: if you Google search Macon Electric, other websites besides ours may come up. A number of members have had issues with sites, such as one named DOXO. This is a service that does take your payments and does remit the payment to us, BUT there are a few drawbacks. The first is that they will assess a fee for doing so.

The second drawback is that DOXO then sends MEC a check via mail, which can take up to three weeks. If you are a member who is disconnected or about to be, this payment would not come to us in time and we would not even be notified of the payment. In addition, if you pay via this site and we do not get the check in time, you may be assessed a late penalty.

Please always go directly to to pay your bill online. From there, you can select either “SmartHub” or “One Time Payment” at the top. Both of these options are secure and completely free to you!
