| Heat Pumps |
| Macon Electric Cooperative offers rebates and incentives on both dual fuel and ground source heat pump systems. In order to receive a rebate for one of these systems, please complete the appropriate Take Control & Save Rebate Application and return it to our office (within 90 days of your purchase) with a copy of your dated sales receipt. If you or your contractor has questions regarding the eligibility of your HVAC equipment, please contact our office prior to installation to insure you will qualify for the rebates listed. |
| Dual Fuel System -- $150 per ton |
Ground Source (geothermal) System -- $750 per ton |
*Must be an air-source heat pump with high efficiency propane or natural gas backup heating.
*The eligibility requirements and rebate details for dual fuel systems are listed on the Dual Fuel Heat Pump Rebate Application. Please review and discuss the Dual Fuel Heat Pump Rebate Application with your HVAC contractor.
Note: Macon Electric Cooperative offers a special rate for qualifying dual fuel systems. In order to take advantage of this special rate, please review, complete and return a copy of the Macon Electric Cooperative Dual Fuel Agreement.
